Sentinel Dynamics
OT / ICS Cybersecurity & Resilience
Capability Statement

Sentinel Dynamics LTD is a service-disabled-veteran-owned OT/ICS cybersecurity and resilience advisory firm. Risk and resilience work grounded in three decades on every side of the systems we secure — manufacturing, healthcare, higher education, state government, and defense — delivered by the founder who quotes the work.

Core Competencies

  • Passive OT/ICS/BAS security assessment — asset inventory, vulnerability findings, and segmentation analysis via the receive-only Sentinel Edge™ platform
  • Facility-Related Control Systems (FRCS) cybersecurity engineering: UFC 4-010-06 / UFGS 25 05 11 submittals, documentation, and cyber commissioning support
  • Fire alarm and mass notification system cybersecurity (UFC 4-021-01) — state fire alarm licensure on staff
  • CMMC 2.0 Level 1/2 and NIST SP 800-171 readiness: gap analysis, SSP and POA&M development, SPRS scoring support for defense suppliers
  • Continuous monitoring / ISCM telemetry and SIEM engineering (Zeek, Suricata, Wazuh sovereign stack)
  • RMF assessment-and-authorization support — eMASS package inputs and CA-9 connection documentation

Differentiators

  • Founder-operator — the person who scopes the engagement performs it
  • Tradesman + cyber: Ohio Journeyman Electrician and Fire Alarm License behind a CISSP/CCSP credential stack — fluent on the jobsite and in eMASS
  • Receive-only methodology: the capture interface carries no IP and cannot transmit — zero operational risk to control systems; we never pentest live infrastructure
  • Pre-built federal authorization packet (NIST SP 800-53 CA-9 documentation) ships with every OT engagement
  • Sovereign analysis — on-premises, no public cloud, no third-party telemetry
  • We built and operate our own NIST SP 800-171-aligned enclave before advising anyone else

Founder Experience

Nearly three decades from the plant floor to defense cybersecurity leadership: Army National Guard communications technician (31U); industrial electrical apprenticeship and journeyman work in truck manufacturing; plant engineering at Kettering Medical Center specializing in fire alarm and electronic systems; lead operations planner at The Ohio State University; program manager directing forward-deployed network engineering teams for a defense contractor; automation & controls electrician, then facility test-equipment engineer at Honda R&D Americas; Deputy Director of Construction & Projects at the Ohio Statehouse, managing IT/OT and facility engineering teams from bid to completion; and senior program-to-executive leadership in defense industrial base IT/cybersecurity, directing RMF assessment-and-authorization projects across IT and DevSecOps environments.

The Sentinel Dynamics compute, edge, and security platform was designed and built in-house by the founder.
